Bricks and Games Event in Gothenburg - November 1/2 2025

Hello all,

my name is Jan Beyer and some of you might know me or my name from my over 20 years tenure as International Commnity Manager for the LEGO Group.

Since August 2024 I work with Brick Works - the company of Caspar Bennedsen, the Danish LEGO Certified Professional.

Today I reach out to you as I have exciting news about a new public event organized by Brick Works, BRICKscale (the company of David Gustafsson - winner of LEGO Masters in Sweden) as well as a Gothenburg based event agency called At Events.

Together we will run Bricks and Games as the premiere event in the Eriksberghallen in Gothenburg on November 1st and 2nd 2025.

The event will offer to the public visitors lots of hands on activities around the LEGO brick, a stage where we will run program, presentations, games and seminars, a gaming area and last but of course not least an MOC display area.

So we hope that some of you are interested in showing their fantastic creations to the public and join us at this awesome event.

Of course we will make sure you feel welcome and have a great time and we will find some cool gifts for you and take you out for an AFOLs evening.

Be assured that I will do my best to make it a great experience for you.

Två månader innan vårt egna stora event så är det ett annat event i samma stad!

Känns som att en utveckling av FoP med Casper o hans företag i spetsen..

Öppet 9-19 båda dagarna. Finns ett Facebook event skapat med.

På plats kan du även få chansen att upptäcka Davids fullskaliga och fungerande Volvo V70 byggd helt i lego närmare än någonsin tidigare. Du får även chansen att vara först ut att ta del utav Davids nya projekt som ska bli ännu vassare!
I andra delar av hallen kan du inspireras av vuxna fans av LEGO som visar upp sina fräckaste verk byggda med LEGO klossar. Ta del av intressanta seminarier på scen som lär dig att bli en bättre byggare. Möt kändisar från LEGO communityn och Spelvärlden. Eller varför inte besöka mässans stora gaming del? Här kan du spela spel baserade på både LEGO Universe men även de mest populära online-spelen, mitt på mässgolvet!

Som om detta inte vore nog så kommer vi bygga Sveriges största Mosaiktavla på plats med LEGO klossar, och ni besökare får chansen att bygga en del av bilden. Bricks and Games bjuder på något för alla – oavsett om du är LEGO älskare eller spelfantast!

Dear Swebrick members,

we are grateful for your interest in the Bricks and Games Event in Gothenburg.

Unfortunately, we need to inform you, that the steering team behind the Bricks and Games event has decided to postpone the for February 2025 in Gothenburg planned event to November 1^st – 2^nd 2025.

The main reason for this decision is that it was not possible for several external partners to prioritize this event within the ambitious timeframe.

Our highest priority is to make sure to deliver the best possible experience for all guests and participants as we highly believe in the Bricks and Games event.

I work on updating the application page and will let you know once it is ready again to take applications in for the November Bricks and Games event.

Sorry to hear that it was not possible to get all the stakeholders aligned to achieve the event you had hoped and planned for... However, it sounds like a good call to postpone it rather than risking to not be able to provide an experience that is up to the level you were aiming to achieve.

For those of us who couldn't make it the original date and therefore did not apply originally, it is however nice to hear that there might be a new opportunity to apply for the updated dates
